I never ever ever get tired of Heffer's! My family has been coming here for years for a reason. You can get breakfast or lunch, and it's all fast and all good. Kris and Judy make you feel very welcome, and even knew what my aunt would be ordering before she even met us there for her lunch break today. The place is all decked in cows, hence the name. Makes it feel homey like grandma's house to me

Decided to go here for breakfast with my dad because of the great reviews I saw on yelp...When I walked in, there were two ladies sitting on the left side eating their meal and a woman behind the cash register who didn't even acknowledge that two customers walked in. I'm thinking (how rude is it to not even say "hello" or "welcome" or "sit wherever you want, folks. I'll be right over.") I would understand if she was busy or on the phone, but she wasn't doing a damn thing... So we walk over to a table in the middle of the room and sit down. At this point, two young guys that look like they came off the street come out of what I suppose was the "kitchen" and start talking to her (I guess she's the boss). Seeing as we were most definitely not going to be greeted, I got up and grabbed to menus off their cleaning cart. About four minutes later the lady behind the cash register comes by ands asks us what we would like to drink without even so much as a smile. I order a water and my dad orders a coffee. She tells us she'll be back later to take our order and I say "thanks." As we're browsing the menu, a family of three and two elderly gentlemen walk in (both parties were never greeted as well, I guess it's a normal thing to not greet your customers here). While people are getting situated, the lady gets a phone call (on the business' phone) and starts arguing with the person on the other end very loudly. Must have been a husband or boyfriend - I sure hope it wasn't a customer. She gets off the phone and ask the other tables what they want to drink with a sour expression on her face and comes back to us to take our order. My dad ordered two eggs scrambled, two pieces of toast, two slices of bacon, country potatoes and biscuits and gravy. I order two eggs poached, two slices of bacon, two pieces of toast, hash browns (extra crispy) and biscuits and gravy. She informs me that they don't do poached, (I've never had a breakfast joint that can't poach eggs?!?!) so I order them sunny side up. (Both our meals were $6.50). Our food did come in a timely fashion. My hash browns were extra crispy (thank-you) and the bacon was good. My eggs weren't greasy (thank you, agian) and the biscuits and gravy and toast, okay. My dad said the biscuits and gravy were on the salty side - I didn't think so. All in all, I would not go back. I did not feel welcome. If anything, I felt like we were a hindrance to the waitress/cashier/boss lady. I work In customer service/retail and the way to get customers to come back to you is to make them feel wanted and that you are willing to bend over backwards for them. A simple smile and "hello" can go a long way if you sound sincere enough.

Good, fresh food and plenty of it at a great price! The decor changes with the seasons and the service is always prompt and friendly. I love this place! We have a number of very good mom and pop diners serving breakfast and lunch in this area and this is one of the best!

If you're looking for a quick and go type of breakfast...then this is it! As you walk in don't feel ignored if you aren't greeted by the staff, as this place is for regulars and they assume you are use to it. Come right inside and have a seat where ever is comfortable and "Welcome to Heffer's, someone will be right with you". The menu itself is standard and straightforward. Nothing that will make this place stand out from the rest. I order a ton of food considering I always eat big during breakfast. The prices can't get lower, or how would it stay open? I personally like the concept; you're paying for what you're getting. For a spot to grab something to eat when you feel like not cooking at home, don't be shy and come on in.

If you really care about being welcomed when you walk in the door don't come here. Just seat yourself. The waitress was extremely nice and a great server. The food came extremely fast. My turkey club was delicious. And the prices, cheap cheap cheap. Great little diner.

Let me just say you can't cook it at home any better! The BLT, perfect. The sausage gravy and biscuits were the best my hubby ever had. WOW, he's had a lot too! Combined with fast friendly service and good prices this place gets the 5 star rating.

We were coming back home from Orlando and decided to take the scenic route. (Great decision) It was around.. 4:30-5:00 a.m when we reached ormond beach. Absolutely beautifuuuul. We were driving down the riverside road, viewing the Halifax River and ran into this grandpa of a guy fishing. (Lot of fishers here) We stroke up a good convo and he recommended us going to this place. So glad I asked. This is a real local's place. We got their early and stayed there for around 1-2 hours. Super friendly service, good food. AND IT'S SO CUTE. Should of taken a picture inside, but there's a bunch of little tiny cow ornaments all over the place. Couldn't even find it on yelp.. Which was a disappointment. But I'm glad I'm here now. :)

ABSOLUTELY, the best breakfast in the area! Chocolate chip pancakes were amazing! Service fantastic! After a long trip from Boston - it was just what we needed!

Heffer's Twoo is right next to my parent's house, so we ate there a few times while on vacation. We had breakfast and lunch. As they aren't open for dinner. For breakfast I had the texas french toast, and it was yummy. It's hard to mess up french toast, I think! My boyfriend had bacon and homefries and he enjoyed them. The homefries are very thick cut potatoes, almost like wedges. My Dad and boyfriend had burgers from here. They both enjoyed the burgers. My dad is a burger eating King so when he enjoys a burger it has to be good. This is definitely a local place where some go eat everyday. I would definitely go back and the price is right.

Great place for breakfast! Undoubtedly the best biscuits and gravy in town. Prices reasonable. Knocked off one star for coffee, wish they would upgrade their coffee brand. Been back several times with consistent results. Would recommended.
